Tour Itinerary:
For this private Gobeklitepe tour you will be picked up from your hotel by our private van and taken to Istanbul Airport for a flight to Sanliurfa. Upon your arrival in Sanliurfa, you will be met at the airport by our private tour guide who will hold a nameplate with your name on it. You will be taken to the Gobeklitepe archaeological site in a private van. During this trip you will be informed about the history of Gobeklitepe before visiting the city of Urfa and the archaeological site of Gobeklitepe. History Göbekli Tepe goes back to the earliest times of mankind (approx. 12,000 BC - 9,000 BC), even earlier than Stonehenge. The discovery of the oval temple in 1996 by German archaeologists created a new perspective in the history of man with God. Today you will visit the oldest temple in the world and the site of the ongoing archaeological excavations, then we will drive to the Archaeological Museum and Mosaic Museum where the relics are exhibited.
Sights: Gobeklitepe Archeologica Site, Abraham Pools and Cave of Abraham (Ibrahim), Mosaic Museum of Sanliurfa, Local Bazaar of Edessa.

 After the tour, you will be transferred to Sanliurfa Airport for a flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will be met by our representative at Istanbul Airport who will hold a nameplate with your name on it.
