TOUR DETAILS:
DAY 1- Flight to Kyrgyzstan
DAY 2- Bishkek
Our guides will meet you at Manas Airport and attend you to Bishkek City (30 min. drive). Accommodation in a guesthouse. The rest of the day you will spend for Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. The tour includes the visiting the central Square “Ala-Too”, “Dubovyi Park” (Oak Park), “Pobeda” Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar (Osh Bazaar), Art Gallery and sights of the capital. Introductory lecture about Kyrgyzstan, its geography, climate, history, population.

Day 2-3: Chon Kemin valley
The valley includes territory of Chu, hon-Kemin, Kichi-Kemin and Suusamyr valleys, mountain slopes of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too, Zailisky Ala-Too, Kuungoi-Ala-Too. Located at an altitude of 550-4895 m a.s.l. These days we visit villages Ozernaya, Novopokrovka, Strelnikova, Arashan, Tatyr and others. Dinner on the basis of national food will be organized in the evening.

Day 4: Suusamyr valley
Transferring to Suusamyr valley (5 h). The air here is clear and fresh, and the gentle slopes of the valley are richly covered in thick green grass. Local livestock keepers and animals are looking forward to the summer to move to the rich pastures of Suusamyr. A special demand among the population and tourists are enjoying kumyz (fermented milk), kurut - dairy products of ancient nomads. Visiting Kojomkul baatyr (national hero) museum. Overnight in tents.

Day 5: Valley of Kokomeren river
Transferring to Kokomeren rivers’ valley (5 h). Picnic. Lecture on climate change and agriculture adaptation. Hiking to the nearest mountain gorge, lectures on mineralogy, petrography, free time - swimming in the river. Overnight in tents.

Day 6-8: Son-Kol Lake
Transferring to Son-Kol Lake (4-5 h). Son-Kol Lake is an alpine lake trapped in a valley between the inner ridges of the Tien-Shan, located between Sonkol-Too and Moldo-Too ridges at an altitude of 3016 m a.s.l. in the north-western part of Naryn Region. There are virgin pastures and conservation area around the lake. The nearest large settlement is Chaek village. The total surface area is 278 km2; the volume of fresh water is 2.4 km3, the length – 28 km, the width – 18 km. The average depth is 8.6 m; the maximum depth is around 14 m. The basin of the lake is of tectonic origin. The shores of the lake are flat; the shore line is cut slightly, it is swampy and in some places it is overgrown with reeds. Number of small rivers and streams fed by glaciers flow into the lake; and only one river – Son-Kol – flows out of the lake. Freeze-up on the lake is observed from late September to late May.
Lectures: History of the Kyrgyz nomads, the traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz people, structure and manufacturing of the yurt, the Kyrgyz national games, a visit to the local people (life, farm, horse, sheep, a system of pasture use, pasture legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic). Free time: Trekking to the mountain gorge, the opportunity to see yaks, marmots and other wild animals. Picnic. - Overnight in tents and yurts .

Day 9: Ak-Talaa village, Naryn Oblast
Transferring to Ak-Talaa village (10 h). Crossing the mountain pass Moldo-Ashuu. Picnic. Visiting a local forest department. Visit the nursery, familiarization with the local sights. - Overnight in tents.

Day 10: Osh City
Transferring to the southern region of Kyrgyzstan through a relict walnut-fruit forests (7-8 h). Picnic. - Overnight in a guesthouse in Osh city .

Day 11: Osh City
Osh is the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan, located in theFergana Valley in the south of the country and often referred to as the "capital of the south". The city is at least 3,000 years old, and has served as the administrative center of Osh Oblast since 1939. The city has an ethnically mixed population of about 255,800 (in 2012), comprising Kyrgyz, Uzbeks, Russians, Tajiks and other smaller ethnic groups. The city has several monuments, including one to the southern Kyrgyz "queen" Kurmanjan Datka and one of the few remaining statues of Lenin. A Russian Orthodox church, reopened after the demise of the Soviet Union, the largest mosque in the country (situated beside the bazaar) and the 16th century Rabat Abdul Khan Mosque can be found here. The only World Heritage Site in Kyrgyzstan, the Sulaiman Mountain, offers a splendid view of Osh and its environs. A cave in the mountain is the site of a museum containing a collection of archaeological, geological and historical finds and information about local flora and fauna .

Day 12-13: Arstanbap relict walnut forest
Transferring to Arstanbap relict walnut forest (4-5 h). On the way visiting Ozgon town, its historical places – minaret and also a local bazaar, rice fields. Lunch. Breakfast, picnic. Hiking in the woods, lectures (forest degradation, history, geology, soils, introducing community forestry). - Overnight in a guesthouse in Arstanbap village.

Day 14: Toktogul reservoir
Transferring to Toktogul reservoir (5-6 h). Toktogul Reservoir is the largest reservoirs on the path of the Naryn River, a northern tributary of the Syr-Darya. The reservoir has total capacity of 19.5 km3 (15,800,000 acre·ft), of which 14 km3 (11,000,000 acre·ft) is active capacity. Its length is 65 km (40 mi) and its surface is 284.3 km3 (109.8 sq mi). The maximal depth of the reservoir is 120 m (390 ft). - Overnight in a guesthouse in Toktogul village .

Day 15-16: Bishkek
Transferring to Bishkek (5-6 h). Overnight in a guesthouse. Visiting climbing camp in the mountain juniper gorge. Farewell dinner.Departure from the airport "Manas".
